Normandy

Year 7 Geography students have just successfully completed a research project comparing Mavlern with Normandy. Pupils were placed into groups to research different aspects of the area including the Beaches, Places of Interest, Food and Drink and the History of the area.

The task required them to create an advert to entice Malvern residents to visit France. The pupils learned how to record their commentry using Audacity and add it to their slides. The resulting presentations were then shown to the class.
There was some memorable information about Cheese, the Giverny gardens, the D-Day landing beaches and the Norman conquest.

There are 12 questions for pupils to answer and members of staff are wearing badges with the answers on and roaming the school.

Pupils can win prizes for their "Ship" and also for themselves.
